Tourism dominates the area, with fantastic pubs & restaurants, wineries, Healesville Sanctuary, RACV Golf Club, picnic racetrack, Four Pillars Gin Distillery, Yarra Valley Railway, Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery, Yarra Valley Dairy, spa retreats, walking tracks, plus much more!Healesville town is 3.5km away from the house, mostly downhill into town, but an uphill walk home; why did you think the views are so amazing?! There is a bus stop at the main road about 800m from the house that runs between Lilydale and Healesville. There is also a number of taxis and drop-off bus service that operate around the town.
